Normally you do not need a Visa for any EU country if you are staying less than 3 months with a roundtrip ticket...but I use a website www.travisa.com for any visa questions.

I think that you don't need a visa to visit Greece from Australia. Although call the Greek embassy in Australia in order to be sure and not have any problem ...

A couple of sites list Australia on a list for no visa required. The Greek web site only states that US and EU citizens need no visa and for others to check at the Greek consulate.

You only need a Visa if you are planning to stay in a European country for more than six months.
