It depends on the location, but a good deal of roadside motels are at least $50-60/night. You can get a room and request extra cots in some places.

Your best bet would be to go to specific motel websites. Try Best Western, Motel 6, Super 8. They sometimes offer web deals.

There are many, many hotels and motels in the United States, and the prices range from $30 a night to $1,000 a night. Yes, there will be rooms for 4 people.

It will depend on what part of the country you're travelling in, what highways you'll be near, etc. The United states is a huge country and things are different and cost different amounts in different parts of the US.

The American Automobile Association (AAA) offers guidebooks to almost all of the US, usually by state. The books list hotels, motels, attractions, etc. You can also get maps for each state you'll be traveling through. AAA has chapters in all the states. If you know where you will be traveling, you can contact a local chapter for more information. You will probably have to join to get the information, but if you're here for more than a week or so, you'll probably save enough money and time to make joining worthwhile.

I'd say on average $39-$69/night + tax for highway motels and possibly more in bigger cities or nicer hotels. Usually the room has two double/full beds which are somewhat small for two adults, I think...but for one night it is certainly doable.

I also like www.hotwire.com for deals on hotels...but be warned that you must pay up front the total price including taxes on that and similar sites, whereas if you call or use a travel agent, you can usually just guarantee the room using your credit card, and be able to cancel without penalty up until 4pm on the day of arrival for most hotel brands.

Depending on where you stop at through out the USA the prices may vary. you should not pay more than 100 USA dollars and that for a nice hotel off the highway. you can go the cheap route and maybe even get some rooms for 4 for around 60 us dollars. have fun be safe.
