Because Rush knows what it takes to be a real black man in America.

Up it's started. Liberals are using the Imus flap to silence everyone they don't like.

Sure, Hitlery can say that Gandhi works at the 7-11, and Biden can joke about Barrack as being a "nice clean black man". Jessie Jackson can call NYC "Hymie-town", and Sharpton can accuse the police of not taking action on a faked crime because of their race. This is normal for liberals, as only they can define what speech is correct.

Yes, liberals are the new National Socialist. Just like the National Socialist of Germany and Italy back in the 1920's.

Watch out. Soon the concentration camps will be built by these thought police to insure that those opposed to them are never heard from again.

How come NO ONE noticed that Rush Limbaugh OWNS his radio program and markets it to radio stations independently?
His listeners buy the products being sold by his sponsors.
Rush earns over $20,000,00.00 each year because of his popularity.
First: he CAN'T be fired.
Second: Are you NUTS? Who would kill the goose that lays the golden eggs?
Third: Rush is unique. He balances the blatant leftist agenda pounded into the feeble brains of TV news viewers.
Those who can still THINK enjoy an alternate source of truth.

Who really cares? Why do people keep getting all fired up just because idiots stir the pot for attention? This is Rush Limbaugh. What's the use of being an asshole if you can't act like one?

Why don't you do the following test:

First go out on the street and call every African American you meet a Halfrican American, and see how they respond.

Then go out and call every woman you see a whore. See how they respond. You should find your answer quickly.

So now we have an Amercia where one can be fired for what one says. Grow up! What some idiot says can be ignored and that's what adults do, ignore them. Whiners, complainers, and those who take offense at the slightest action are emotional children and need to grow up and realize that words are just that , WORDS. Speak back to those people. Let them know you disagree. Send emails, letters, speak up in public. Your words are just as welcome under our constitution as theirs are. What is not welcome is the punishment that shuts down conversation and makes people afraid to talk for fear of losing their job. I didn't hear what Imus said because I don't listen to him. Now the airwaves are full of the reports of what he said over and over ad nauseum. Many of those who are calling for his job are just doing it to prove to themselves that they are not racist and if the yell loud enough and often enough they feel good about themselves and stand in front of the mirror and say how UN-racist they are because "look how indignant I was over what Imus said!"

In case you haven't heard, its all about money. Rush has alot of listeners.

And, besides, he's under contract, if they fire him, he can go back into business for himself.

On a side note, I guess freedom of speach is a greaet thing.. until someone says something you disagree with.

The media will just go after one person. They put all the energy to one person to wreck their career and make them an example. I think what Imus said was wrong but every rap artist should have there career wrecked as well. No one should say anything racist but as a whole we only hold certain people responsible for saying bad things! We should hold everyone responsible for saying racist things not just one human being!

He did get fired. As soon as he left the bubble world of right-wing hate radio, he made a racist remark as a football commentator and was cut loose.

No one takes rush seriously. His audience is a nitche audience of conservatives so his listeners would never get upset at what he says. When rush tried to go mainstream on ESPN he got fired basically within 3 weeks for his donovan mcnabb statement.

He has already been fired from being a football commentator because of racist remarks about Donavon McNabb.
