Other people feel how they feel as a result of what they tell themselves about what they observe. For example, if you observe that your husband looks at porn and you tell yourself, "He looks at it because it means I'm not good enough for him," then you will feel badly about it. However, he did not force you to think that irrational thought. You would feel better if you told yourself something more realistic, such as, "He looks at porn because it's fun and interesting; it has nothing to do with any comparison to me."

and that is usually when the cheating starts? I haven't seen any studies linking the viewing of porn to cheating. However, since nearly 100% of adult males have, at some point, viewed some amount of porn in some capacity, you would not be wrong to say that most men who cheat have looked at porn. Of course, the conclusion is fallacious, because you could also say that all men who cheat have eaten food, drunk water, and slept in a bed. Clearly, however, those things don't *cause* cheating. Likewise, porn does not *cause* cheating.

Because men are nasty when they do this and they don't care about anything but themselves. They have to much time on their hands so they have to stroke the brain in their penis. Because they choose to let it over rule the brain that sits on top of their shoulders.They don't want to see how hurtfull their actions are toward the women that care and love them. I believe that men that do this all the time foreplay with the idea of cheating with other women. They can actually numb themselves out to the reality of what making love to a woman is all about.They loose the real touch of intimacey when interacting with a real live woman. They have no idea what it takes to make a good pasionate lover out of the sexual partner they really do have access to. Men involved in porn when they have a significant lover in their life are weak and have no intellectuall understanding about the real women in their lives. They think on a lower level and can only think of sex on it's lowest term.......no emotions involved. In reality men addicted to porn make very bad lovers.......they think that what these women portray sexually is what all women want and desire. The sexual act is not real it is fake . They don't understand the woman in the video was paid alot of money to act and turn them on. If these men took the time to understand why these women in porn are doing this to themselves and why women work in strip clubs ect.........they would have to change how their mind views it and it wouldn't get them aroused and they would have to do something more constructive with their minds and their hands. They could then have better insight what is right and respectfull where the important women in their lives are concerned. This would be alot of work for men caught up in fantasy where they choose to escape to a lower level of thinking. They would have to seek proffesional help to rise above those fake silicone breasts and the woman who exposes all her private parts to him. People choose not to see it anyother way............because women that choose the sex industry for a career wouldn't get a pay check that depends on men with sexual weakness to keep porn right where it is! Porn affects millions of people.It hurts all of us, how women and men think of each other..........it destroys relationships and breaks up marriages and no one should try to push it on somebody else to justify their right to do it........especially when they have someone in their life and it hurts them.

It does NOT lead to cheating. Generally.. Guys watch it because its fantasy. Stuff they cant or wont do to their wife/GF. If that same guy cheats, it's not because of porn. its because he has no respect for whatever women he's with. Or she isn't doing stuff he wants.
