Lol I found this little grey moth outside. I want to feed it- it seems really slow right now.
I heard that if you soak a cottonball in sugar water they'll eat that. I set him on it very gently, but I didn't see his tounge (or whatever that is :) ) come out at all. Help!!!

That's nice of you, but it has got to have stopped hailing now, so let it back outside. They don't have a long life span, and you probably helped extend, so let it go and enjoy the rest of it. It's family probably misses it. They never make good housepets.Their food is expensive: velvet, cotton, angora, cashmire, etc., and your electricity bill will go up because you always have to have a light burning so they can crash into it.

so what does moths eat beacause mine cant fly but its acting like its not living anymore.

Please let the moth fly away to it's natural habitat. They eat clothes, in particular anything that is wool.

put him in your wardrobe they eat cloths. why do you think they make moth balls?
