All kinds of insane people hear voices, and if you follow them there's a good chance you'll end up drinking the cool aid and becoming a nice festering corpse in the jungle of guyana. So so refuse to believe anyone who claims to have heard voices, seriously, those people are fukking nuts and probably just want to do you up the ****.
Just Imagine if the people of ancient palestine had decided that moses was talking ****. Imagine if they thought with their own minds instead of blindly accepting the words of some idiot who claimed to talk to god. Maybe the last 3000 of human history wouldn't have been defined by ideological differences and not quite so peppered with genocide. Maybe taking responsibility for our own actions and feeling empowered by the enormous responsibility of being a decent human being would have created a more just and inclusive society for the people of this planet. Maybe faith in a greater power takes power (and therefore accountability) away from us and lets us condone evil when action against evil is what's really required. God Almighty doesn't exist. Think you morons, how can there be more than one god almighty? If countless different faiths in the world all believe in different gods that created everything, then either there are thousands of different gods that created everything, or people just made it all up to try and explain things they didn't understand and It's all bullshit. It's interesting that you say the word schizophrenia, because it allows for a level of interpretation or labeling for something that is not easily analyzed. I believe that divine voices can be heard by the right person or practitioner of a faith. If you practice tennis really well, you will soon be able to determine all sorts of variables simply by the sound of the ball being hit into the air. It's a person's expertise. When they meditate all the time and pray, the person is bound to be able to sense vibrations from divine presences or beings, or utterance from angels, gods, or higher beings. Why not? Tiger Woods is an incredible golfer. If he was alive in medieval England (and if he was white, possibly), I'm sure he would be considered an anomaly enough to be called a witch, wizard, or conjurer.

I hear a voice inside my head from time to time. when i hear it she is telling me of danger. it is a womans voice and she whispers what she has to tell me. one day i was going in to taco bell to get dinner and the voice said unto me. be prepared when go out the door, there is a man hiding there. sure nuff when i came out the door there was a man hiding on the outside of the door. since i was warned prior to opening the door, i was on guard for him. he just wanted to beg for money. like i was so stupid to even stand there and listen. another time the voice told me to switch lanes because an accident was about to occur, i switched lanes and a car ran a light and came into the lane i was in before the voice told me. so i avoided that accident. this voice doesnt talk to me all the time only when danger is coming.
