Awesome job people! And I agree there are some great quotes in other languages...they lose in the translation don't they?
I'm reminded of another too..."Your reputation is what people say about you behind your back". How true! If they knew you they would know whether what was said was true or not!
The pig saying for those who don't get it means if you let others pull you down to their level, you may feel poorly but they wont of course...capishe??

You know what in México we have lots of awesome popular sayings, i will share some of my favorites with you, and try to translate.
"Al flojo y al mezquino dos veces el camino" means something like " To the lazy and to the stingy, twice the effort", any one who do things with lazyness and who is stingy or miserly or petty, used to have much more effort to get what they want.
"Mas sabe el diablo por viejo que por diablo" means something like "The devil is wiser for being old than for being the devil". Wich refers to the wisdom of the old people.
And the very famous saying from Dn Benito Juarez:
"Entre los individuos como entre las naciones el respeto al derecho ajeno es la paz"
wich means something like:
"Between individuals as between nations, the respect to the other rigths is the peace."
