You have a couple of options. You can either download and install a codec pack (see the first link below), or download and install a separate video player (see the second link below).
There are, of course, other codec packs and video players besides the ones I've listed, but I think if you give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

decoders needed for the software not for the drive you are trying to play on Media player try to play in Real Player.
