ok, so if nobody in the whole world has an identical fingerprint, how do we get born with a completely unique one?
as in how does the body as its growing inside its mother know what prints already been done and what hasnt?
dont think ive explained this very well, but hopefully someone understands.

It's not that the body knows which has been created before, but that fingerprints are completely random (due to random mixing of genes). It is possible that two people can have the same fingerprints, but the likelihood is astronomical and will probably never happen.
Just remember, random is the key here.

To the degree that we would be able to distinguish, there are ultimately a finite number of prints (we can only magnify down so much). But that number of possibilities far out numbers the number of people who currently live, or will in the future. It is possible someone born 250 years from now (or even tomorrow) may have the same fingerprints as you. It is almost more impossible to believe no one will ever have your finger prints, than it would be to think some one could. It is ultimately random.

Think of it as a sudo random number generator . Now u have several co. making these generators . How many of the generators would generate the same no. If your number is big enough it will never be the same.
