I'll be travelling by train around England in June and I guess where can I keep my luggage secure while being "in transit" visiting cities like Chester, Durham or Oxford. I know big train stations have storage, I don't know about not son big ones.
Any suggestion? Thanks!

You shouldn't have any problem, even a lot of the small out of the way stations have storage.

Sometimes go on cross country bike rides lasting several days and use luggage lockers as drop off and resupply points en route. Never had a problem finding any.

The places you mentioned are all quite large, I'd be very surprised if they didn't have luggage facilities.
