I am reposting because I never specified it was for my husband and I. The answers I recieved were for women clubs only. So are there any clubs locally located in RI or a nearby CLOSE state?

Many bike manufacturers have riding clubs for their specific brands (H.O.G., Star Riders, Goldwing Touring Assoc., etc.). In addition, A.B.A.T.E. has several chapters in New England. Some clubs are open to both men & women as equal members, these mostly being riding clubs, however, many "MC"s are open to either one or the other. Check out the "Clubs" link at the following site for more specific information.

Visit New England Riders on the Delphi Forum. Drop down the "more motorcycles forum" banner. You'll find a lot of biking activity in our area.

Reposting was a good idea.
Still, I would say go to the Blessing. It is not like any of the Rallys. More like going to church, but not. With your husband, you'll have company for the ride. People come from all over.

My suggestion would be to go to one of your local bike shops and get a copy of 'Thunder Press'( a monthly publication for bikers). In the middle of the paper is a pretty impressive listing of poker runs, bike shows, etc.
Attend some of these events and make connections ,find out who the people you've met and like ride with and go from there.

The family "clubs" usually call themselves riding groups.

Okay, here's what you do. Most large, well-run motorcycle dealerships have regular "club-type" rides, even if it i snot a formal club. Your best bet is to check a few of the local Honda dealers in your area. I am sure one of them will know.

I don't know if it is your cup of tea, but, the Christian Motorcycle Association has groups pretty much everywhere.
