Yes, I'm mentioning about NBA playoff format. What if new playoff match up is determine by a draw by David Stern with East and West mixed for in the playoff matches.
The seeding will be the same with the West and the East teams will be mixed in playoff. In the draw, The seeding of 1st to 8th is the same only the East and West is mixed.
Ever wonder what would happen if Olajuwon Rockets meet with Jordan Bulls in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd round?
Ever think that Jordan can defend against Olajuwon famous move the Dream Shake? That's what I'm talking about as it is damn annoying that the East and West great teams and great match is gone as there can be only one team from each conference meet in the finals.
What do you all think about this

interesting concept indeed, but there would be no need for geographical sorting of teams. even though the west seems to be the dominant conf., the east has its share of recent titles like the heat or pistons, upsetting dominant western teams. i want the best possible matchup in the finals and that usually happens

I personally think the east finals will be raptors vs. pistons and the west will be spurs vs. mavs. Many people would wonder why i have the raptors in the east finals, but there is a reason. They will have the easiest road there, in the 1st round they'll get the present of playing the wizards without caron butler and gilbert arenas, which they'll handle easily. In the 2nd round they'll probably end up playing cleveland, who is very underachieving and is inconsistent, and cannot go far in the playoffs. Toronto is also overlooked, t.j. ford and chris bosh are two of the best players in the east. Detroit is the team to beat in the east, and they should handle whoever they play. The mavs will make it, for theyre the best team and do not have to go through the spurs or suns to get there. The suns do not matchup well against the spurs, and the spurs do have the playoff experience, defense (which wins championships), and people who step it up in the playoffs like tim duncan, tony parker, and manu ginobli. I think detorit and dallas will come out of their conferences, and dallas will beat detroit in 7 games.

If you did that then there would be no point in having East and West Conferences. It would jus be top 16 teams go to playoffs therfore majority of the teams from the east would'nt make the playoffs. Hmmmm interesting concept though.

YOUR IDEA IS WHACK. AFTER IMPLEMENTING YOUR BAD IDEA LETS DO IT IN BASEBALL (MIX THE AL WITH THE NL) AND FOOTBALL (MIX THE AFC AND THE NFC).
