Have you ever heard of the FlyLady?? She has a website that you can use to help make a household more manageable. To quote her "Why Fly?" page:
First, you join as a FlyBaby. You will receive your e-mail Welcome Letters from FlyLady instructing you on how to get started. You will also receive regular e-mail reminders from FlyLady about zones, decluttering, laundry, shoes (honestly - shoes are very important here!) and more. Don't feel overwhelmed! FlyLady will keep you on track using small baby steps. And FlyBabies - no peeking at all of the routines, etc. shown on the FlyLady website. You are just getting started!
Now, as you progress, Flylady will send you e-mail to help you develop routines to get you going in the morning and to send you off to sleep in the evening. She's tough here - routines are very important! It takes 21 days to form a habit, but for SHEs (Sidetracked Home Executives), it takes 28 days. FlyLady is going to insist you shine your sink too - you'll soon find out why!
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
They have "zones" that you work on each week. THis week the zone is the kitchen. There are daily step-by-step directives that guide you to a tidier homespace.
If you give it a chance, I'm sure it can help you.

I am 12 weeks pregnant too and i have a 15 month old daughter and terrible nausea.
I cant stand a dirty messy house, i just dont feel comfortable if its dirty. Thats my main motivation. But i find that playing some energetic music helps me to get going. Think about how comfortable you will feel when the house is looking and smelling fresh and clean.
I also want to add that you should also pace yourself! Do one thing at a time, take a break, then do another bit then rest. As soon as you feel tired take a break, sit down, have a snack if need be, then when you regain some energy get stuck in again! Good luck

Okay, heres what I found!!!!
I take the chores that need to be done once a week (cleaning the bathroom, cleaning the kids room, dusting) I spread them out so I only have to do them on different days.
I stay at home with my kids, so my husband calls me when he is coming home from work, about a half hour drive.
I take that half hour and I clean the house and do the dishes as fast as I can. Then, when he comes home, it looks like I worked hard on the house all day!!!!
I don't know if you have thought about this or not, but the best chemicals to be around when you are pregnant, lysol or clorox wipes for the kitchen and bathroom! They aren't toxic and they won't harm the baby!!!!!
Good luck!!!

This is exactly what I needed to figure out the best way for me to organize my home & set up housekeeping routines. I can't follow advice from people who are already organized by nature, I need it from someone whose brain works more like mine and needs that extra little nudge to see a starting point in a huge mess, patterns within chaos, and logical solutions within a large web of multiple problems.
My favorite Flylady concepts are:
You can do anything for 15 minutes!
The timer is your friend.
Even a job partially (or poorly) done blesses your family.
Creating new routines and habits one step at a time (Baby Steps).
Mess = stress. The clutter in our lives causes us so much guilt, and can affect the way we live (ie, can't take the kids to the park because the house isn't clean-- but not really getting up to clean it either because the mess is overwhelming).
I used to "run" my house with 3 or 4 kiddos running around underfoot, with little to no routine to speak of. It worked well enough for us, for a time. But since my oldest child started kindergarten (she's in middle school now) I've had to progressively learn to add routines and order to my life, in order to manage things more effectively. It's still a work in progress, but I am much better off now than when I started out 8-9 years ago. I don't always do all of the Flylady routines or get her daily emails and all, but I was able to take several of her basic tenets and use them to improve my life.
All the best!

Think about your child eating a dead roach, thinking that it is an M&M or something, playing in a litterbox, being the stinky, crusty kid that no one wants to play with! Being unclean invites all sorts of unwanted attention to your family. and come on, 12 weeks pregnant!! you should'nt even be showing yet! Sounds like an excuse that a lazy person would make. get your butt up, STOP spending your day playing on the computer and wash those dishes damn it!!

Look at one room at a time rather than thinking about the house as a whole, it will seem less daunting this way. Put your favourite music on that makes you feel like dancing. Take a break between each room that you tidy.

Do a little then take a break and do a little more. It may take you all day but you don't want to over exert yourself. Hopefully you'll start feeling a bit better in the second trimester and it won't be as tiring.

I would play some nice music while cleaning...o and good luck with being pregnant! That sounds like the time maybe some family member will come over and help you...then you come over and help them with something. Also a cleaning lady!!
