I've always wanted to go, but I'm afraid of what they may tell me. It's also supposed to be like a sin to go.

In some ways yes and some ways no. I think that fortune tellin does work to the effect that when someone is told something about their "future" that it puts them in a certain state of mind. If you are expecting something to happen it will.

I don't believe in fortune tellers, seers or palm readers. But some do seem to make a good living from it. For me, only God knows the future. And I don't believe he has revealed it to anyone.

nope... one time this college student went to one near my house and the fortune teller told her that she had a curse and the girl had to pay the fortune teller 10000 bucks a year for 10 years to get rid of it...
i never did before that but that just made me hate them for not getting real jobs

i didn't use to...then had a guy do my tarot cards at a halloween party...had never met him before, and he sat in the back away from the hostess (I kept my eye on him to make sure she wasn't feeding him info) and he was so dead on that it was scary.
