If something becomes scientifically proven, it automatically ceases to be supernatural and becomes natural.
Theories are an important step in the scientific process. Some theories become widely accepted truths, most remain theories or are proven false.
An example of something that was once thought of as supernatural and eventually became known as a "natural occurrence" are comets in the sky.

The supernatural are beyond the levels of scientific perceptions of the times.
The moment, some such perception, falls within the purview of "continuously progressing" science, it is no longer classified as supernatural !
