I am 17 turning 18 in July. Can I join a contest which requires you to be 18 on April 21?

Is there something to this legally? Can I say that it's rounded up to be 18?

no you can't, there is no rounding when it comes to the law...

You have to be 18 ON or BY April 21 and you're not.

Don't try it because, let's say you do win, the people running the contest will disqualify you because the rules are quite specific. Legally you can't round your age.
