Have you tried white vinegar? I use white vinegar on our shower doors and it leaves them sparkling clean.

I use the KABOOM also, I have to rinse it well, and I use a squeegee on the doors. I bought mine from a spa store for 12 bucks, but they last eons. I have hard water as well, so I have tried everything that the others have mentioned. They ALL do work well. It's really about making sure you rinse the chemicals off well. Try using a squeegee for drying, and try the SCOTCH BRITE sponge, to clean with. The two-sided ones they make for cleaning ceramic top stoves. Those work great for needing an abrasive that doesn't scratch the surface.

Some heavy lime and calcification marks will actually etch into shower doors over time. Those etching require taking the doors off and actually soaking them with lime scale removers. Even then, permanent marks can remain. Good Luck!

Tilex soap scum remover will work if it is indeed soap scum. But, if it is lime or calcium deposit from the water, then 1/2 part vinegar and 1/2 part warter will do it. You will have to find a way for the vinegar solution to stay on the stain for about an hour though. It has to have time to loosen up the stain and do it's thing.

Put vinegar in a spray bottle and spray onto door (from inside shower with door shut.) Let vinegar sit for a bit on the glass. Use shower squeegee starting at top of the glass; squeegee off all the way to the bottom in one motion, the width of the blade. Wipe squeegee blade off in between each removal stroke with cleaning rag. Continue across the shower door until all vinegar removed. This has worked for me in the past. Good luck.

I absolutely Love Comet Bathroom Cleaner in the spray bottle, it desolves the soap scum really well. Sounds like you might just need to reapply your cleaning product, perhaps let it soak for a bit and then apply some real elbow grease. You might also try an SOS pad.. For a like new shine, after you get it cleaned - go over your shower doors with some Windex.

To get the shower doors back to new - it would be best to take them off to clean. The best cleaner I know for glass is a mixture of vinegar and water and use black and white newspaper to clean with! You will be very surprised!

You can clean soap scum from your glass shower doors by using a sheet of Bounce. No other harsh cleaners necessary.

I just started using the Magic Erasers for the bathtub and shower and they work fantastic. They take off all the streaks with little effort.

I had the same problem with my daughter's shower- the only thing that worked was a razor blade combined with a shower cleaner. They key is- don't let it build up- clean it weekly and wipe it down after every shower.
