Uhhh 1840 census had 2 households in Mosquito County FL. 1843 it was renamed to Orange County; 1850 that county had 240 persons. The first census separating Orlando (formerly Ft Gatlin) as a town was 1900 with a population of 3,243.

Any city or town's population, when it is first established is zero and then goes up immediately to the number of first settlers, often a half dozen or a dozen people It's like asking what the score of a game is before it even begins ... it's always 0-0
