I am very tall and skinny, almost nothing on top but I'm nervous of showing too much of my bottom. Also if you can send pictures to help me understand your advice I would be really grateful

Because you are tall and skinny (be proud of that), you can wear almost anything. But to make it look like you have more on top, try finding a bikini with ruffles on the top (web examples below). It gives the illusion of fullness, without all the padding and stuff. And most swim suits made in the US wont show too much of your bottom (just make sure you find ones that say moderate to full coverage and you should be good. No thongs or brazilian cuts).

In Italy we have what is called a match make seamstress which takes your figure coordinates and matches them to the perfect Bikini for you so that not only do you look elegant, but beautiful as well especially tall Women so that's a plus for you.
Some famous tall Women are not heavy on top either and they are terrific models.
You are probably one of them already:)

Also if you 'build your own' bikini you can choose the right size for your top & bottom. If you are worried about showing too much on bottom get some great boy shorts or even a cute skirted suit... see
