Since the day you got married, has all the romance gone away?? And do you just feel like and old married unhappy couple who is just carrying on?

I sure hope you are not married!!!! A relationship is a two way street and even thoughts of cheating on your wife is wrong. A woman marries for love, trust, and most men just marry for god knows why. And if you probably had a little romance in you then it would never be "an old married unhappy couple carrying on," cause the more you are with someone the more you love, honor and trust that person. My husband is my best friend, and everyday of every year we are together the better our relationship is.

No I haven't. We've been married for 2+ years, and before I'd ever cheat, I'd leave. Not that I am even remotely interested in leaving, much less cheating.

Before we got married, we dated for 2.5 years, and were friends for 5 years before that. So yes, the "romance" has worn a little thin. But romance - and a romantic marriage - take continuous hard work and commitment from both parties.

I have never cheated on my wife in 11 years of marriage and we have been together longer than that. There is a reason I took a vow to my woman. The vow didn't include "for better or worse, unless I get horny and can't think for myself". If for any thing else, my children deserve a real role model not someone who they WILL one day discover cheated on their mother. I have to much self respect.

twice

20 years

I told her though, so maybe not even considered cheating

yup, the romance has gone away, maybe 2% left

I don't just feel like it, I AM CERTAIN we are an old married couple just going through the motions. I'm too lazy to leave, she is too lazy to kick me out.
