disregard and ignore all the many major screw-ups of their policitcal party and try to steer attention to minor and even insignificant political problems of the dems.

Granted, dems and libs are not always right, but jeez, look at your partys track record. you should be running away with your tail between your legs for all the scandal you have created, yet you try to distract the masses by labeling us communists and feeding off of a very old and outdated paranoia of red scare.

the only red we should fear is that of the GOP

They're not ignoring them, they're just desperately still trying to convince themselves and everyone else that electing bush wasn't the biggest mistake in 230 years of American history.

Hey, we should fight the corruption in both parties. Im Republican, and I want to serve as a Senator one day. Cleaning house is a good thing. But hey, things like abortion are far worse than anything else America has done. slavery was really bad too, but we fixed that. The only red we should fear is the blood of the innocent, especially if we are to blame, which we are for the issue of abortion. Scandal outlines both parties, and both parties should fix it. You are doing the same thing you blame Republicans are, steering attention to minor and even insignificant political problems of your opposition. There are libs that label us as fascists and intolerant, both which are obvious lies. You are promoting fear to attack the GOP. Dont. That is arrogant and ignorant. I dont do that to the Dems, you dont do that to the GOP. Both parties have good things and bad things. When it comes to morals, Dems are on the short end of the stick, at least in ideology.

First let me set the stage, I am a conservative who is a registered republication. I do this because our current two party system forces me to choose a party that best aligns with my political point of view. At this time, it is the Republican party.

I distrust the Democrat party because they so closely align themselves with socialist and Marxist beliefs but am also upset with the Republican party because they can not stay focused on core conservative values that vaulted them into power in the 90's.

Going to a third party, given the strength of the two parties at this time is not wise. Remember "I'm all ears" Perot and how the Democrats are currently afraid if Nader puts his hat in again. Third party candidates have typically weakened one of the two parties to the point of allowing the lesser of the two to win a national election. Factions within the party tend to do that.

As for screw-ups, one man's speck is another man's timber. And the last time I checked, running away with your tail between your legs never solved a problem.

Political parties are designed to generate power, or in other words momentum for a set of core beliefs. When power is used wisely, it has a positive effect (and yes I know 'positive' is subjective). Each party has it's share of screw-ups, and to say that one is better then the other is two say that one flower looks better then another. We all have our own way of judging what is valuable and appealing.

Your comment about 'distract the masses' is cute. From my point of view that is all the Democrat party did while not in power because they had no plan and nothing to move on except their unified 'We hate Bush" theme.

As for 'disregard and ignore', based on your note, I would say it's alive and well in both parties.

Have a good one!

I agree. i exchange into at Zuccotti Park final nighttime, and it exchange into okay behaved. i exchange into anticipating some style of insanity, however the actuality exchange into fairly distinctive. human beings ranged from each and all ages, races, genders, and tax brackets. It exchange into fresh to be certain. The media is making a dwelling off of polarizing the two factors nevertheless. in the event that they pit the properly suited and left against the different it makes for exciting headlines. They continuously could seek for an thrilling headline to sell their thoughts. If human beings fairly have been given to expertise the OWS protesters, then i'm particular that they had agree very plenty with them. there's a reason that sixty seven% of recent Yorkers help the protesters, because of the fact they on the middle are conversing for what the common guy or woman feels, and that they get to be certain it head to head without it being muddied by the media. I'd like to know what scandal is your speaking of, and this is a new ploy now, the Red Scare, I'd like to know what that is as Russia was put in her place back in the Regan years. Also there is no such thing as an insignificant political problem of the democrats. All of their political problems are of imense proportions, and getting worse each day.

Remember the 04 campaign? it wasn't Bush strutting his achievements it was Bush saying look how bad Kerry is.
You only attack your opponent when you have nothing of your own to bring to the table. For the GOP it's a tried and true method.
