Well a couple times Landry or Reed being out of place made him look reallt bad, so it wasnt all his fault. But yeah he has certainly lost a step but I think he is still a good DB. If we got rid of him now we dont have anyone on the roster good enough to replace him and with the Clements contract its highly unlikly that we will be able to find some one good enough to replace at a reasonable price. I was thinking the should trade for Asante Samual but I dont know if he is worth the first round pick and 10 million a year that he wants. We need to began drafting to replace some of our older guys like, Ray Ray and Big J.O., so we cant really afford to give up to many more early picks and we also cant afford to tie up to much money in the salary cap. And for that reason it pains me to say it but Samari will be back because we cant get anyone else and cutting him would cost us to much money. His signing bonus was like 10 million dollars and he has only played like 2 or 3 years of his contract. They need to draft a CB.

Rolle had an off year, to be sure, and he's not the best tackler. But the Ravens aren't going to be able to find a plug-in replacement for him that's instantly better than him & Rolle can still be a good CB. And none of the other CBs on the Ravens' roster seem like easy choices for starting opposite McAllister: Corey Ivy? Evan Oglesby? Derrick Martin? Sorry, but the Ravens are better off keeping him than trying desparately to trade for or draft a different CB to start immediately.
Lots of CBs got burnt by Steve Smith last year. And the year before. Give Rolle one more chance.

It is a CHANCE that CB Samari Rolle could be a June 1 cut, but I doubt it. Yes He has lost a step or two, but he's still a solid CB. He's not good as he used to be, but he's still good enough to contribute. Hopefully for his sake, he'll step his game up, because opponents will continue to pick on him instead of throwing the way of Chris McAlister, who is very underrated as a cover corner.

Jim Leonard signed with the Jets, Matt Stover will stay for one last year, Ray will resign with the Ravens, Samari Rolle is leaving because he doesn't like the Raven's front office, we don't know who's interested in him.

Sorry, Samari... lol He's actually a solid CB. Not the best, but good in coverage. He's not a tackling sort of guy though.

I think that this will be a wake up call for Samari. He had a bad year. So did many of the greats. He is going to turn it around I think because he realizes that his job is on the line.

Fellow Raven extreme enthusiast, I agree 100%, losing Gary Baxter was big, real big, not as big as losing Adalius Thomas, that will hurt much more and paves the way for the Pat.s. Sorry I got off the subject, but I agree.

My opinion, he is there to stay. I am sorry. but he is a very good CB provides awesome coverage. Although, he isn't really the aggressive tackling type. BUT when your a good CB you don't need to tackle anyone.
