Would it float around space like a meteor or what?

Earth has no gravitational pull. According to Einstein, the earth (and all massive objects) bend or warp the space-time around them. The curvature of space-time around a massive object is what we call gravity. If earth 'lost' its space time curvature that could only mean that it ceased to exist.

Earth already is floating around in space like a meteor. But if it had no gravity, people would float off too. And the water in the oceans. Even the air would float away into space, leaving a vacuum. In fact, the centrifugal force of the Earth's daily rotation would cause the whole Earth to tear itself apart, throwing mountains out into space.

If Earth losts its gravitational pull, then it will be pulled by the Sun which is 13 lac times larger than the Earth.

and surely it will be the end of the human history.

If earth lost all it's gravitation it would blow up like a super nova, you wouldn't have time to float away.

If earth lost its gravity, the internal pressure would probably cause it to explode, like the planet Krypton.
