I have. She was waving her arms and yelling "THIS ISN'T A TURN AROUND!" Was she on drugs or what the hell?

You know that 30 ft from the centerline of the road is not even your property.

No, but some guy wheeled into my driveway really fast once to turn around and squished the neighbor's kitten and then she blamed us for it.

Yes, I have been yelled at, also. But when I am lost and have to turn around I am not going to go 10 miles down a lonely road just so I don't upset anyone by turning around in their driveway, which only takes a few moments and there is no harm. =)

I've never been yelled at, but I did have a cop stop me once because my car was overheating and he was upset that the driveway I used to turn around in wasn't my own. I don't see why he would care, it wasn't his either.

Worse than that. Some crazy dude came down the drive with a shotgun and started yelling, "This is private property! Didn't you see the sign?!" Wacko...

Yes, I've done it and will continue to do so if there's no other place to safely turn around. However, I have been yelled at one time. And people do it my driveway occassionally too!!!

I've never yelled at anyone, but I hate it when people use my driveway as a turnaround. People seem to my driveway more often than my neighbor's drives because it's extra wide.

You must have turned around in my mother in laws driveway. She gets all indignant when someone does it. I lived at the end of a dead end street while growing up, so we were used to that. Really weird if you ask me!

lol...I have too! it was funny because I was SO lost (following someone else's directions) and the drive was long...so figured it wouldn't matter...this woman comes flying down the drive way screaming at me...she didn't even make it 1/2 way down before I was gone...
Oh, I had out of state plates too...you would think they would be more kind!!

Slick G, you can be a hard nut to crack and I wouldn't be surprised if you flipped her the bird. Now admit it, did you use hand gestures???
