We broke it, we ARE paying for it. We are paying for it with the lives of our soldiers. America IS responsible for Iraq NOW thanks to the boneheadedness of the President. Iraq did not attack us.They did not fund, plan or participate in 9/11.
They DON'T want democracy. The law in their constitution right now is not for democratic consensus, it is Sharia law. This makes it more or a theocracy than a democracy. What is ironic is that women had basic human rights under Saddam and thanks to President Bush, the new constitution has taken those away.

Try dealing with facts. Fact. Iraq has never wanted a Democracy, there people hate it. They prefer a Islamic Republic form of government. Always have and always will.
Fact,. Iraq will cost working class tax payers $2 trillion in the next ten years. We (the USA) broke it, we (the tax payers) must fix it. I think the over 3500 of our brave and best is a high price to pay plus the over 40,000 wounded. 650,000 civilians are dead in Iraq. Fact. We are in occupation of Iraq which Congress never approved. All occupations end at some point in time. There are those Republicans in Congress that have the goal of owning Iraq, Democrats were elected to to Congress to end the occupation.
Those are the facts. Bush refuses to except them for what they are. He and his elk choose to ignore them. BTW, only a Idiot like Bush would think Iraq will go into Civil war if we leave, they are in Civil war now. The real "War on Terror" is not in Iraq it's in Afghanistan and Lebanon.

Well according to Paul Wolfowitz (idiot and traitor), the oil revenues from Iraq would pay for it's reconstruction. However, that is clear not to be the case.
What's going to happen is the democrats are going to continue to fund this war because they don't have the backbone to impeach Bush and Cheneys backbiting lieing asses. They are to scared to loose the election in 08 rather then do something right.

George Bush is responsible for the suffering going on in Iraq.
His war for oil has been a disaster. I suspect that in the end, America will leave Iraq to its own fate (see Viet Nam)

Keeping Iraq's oil off the market ensures Saudi/Exxon control of OPEC. We broke it so we could PROFIT from it. The longer it stays broke, the more profit comes from it. Read the book "Armed Madhouse" by Greg Palast to learn the real reasons for the Iraq situation.

no-Iraq is responsible for Iraq-if we pull out now like in Vietnam they went and massaquered the pro americans and all the Christians-and went into Laos and Cambodia and did the same.
if we leave now terrorist Muslims will take over and have direct access as 9/11 to destroy the enemy America and Israel -and they are already killing each other the Sunnis and the other sect destroying each others mosques for over 2 years now and killing each other.
