Let them try. But if it would come to that (it never will), I know how to use other weapons to defend myself and my home.

Perhaps instead of banning guns, potential owners should be forced to take an IQ test...

1. True of False, guns make great toys for kids...

Some people are very responsible with their guns, I'm sure, but not all:

Only 39% of households with children and firearms keep their gun locked, unloaded, and separated from the ammunition.

In 2004, there were 13,846 kids injured by a firearm

In 72% of unintentional deaths and injuries, suicide, and suicide attempts with a firearm of 0-19 year-olds, the firearm was stored in the residence of the victim, a relative, or a friend.

Clearly those opposed to irresponsible parents having guns (or children) are the "idiots."

Why don't you try asking an objective question rather then point fingers at what some politician is doing?

I mean, I could make a post that says Newt Gingrich wants to regulate free speech, or for that matter, George Bush. Would that make you happy?

They wouldn't get MY guns... no way, no HOW.

I concur with Ashely that kids and guns don't mix as TOYS... I was taught at 4 (with a spanking) not to ever touch a gun without Dad there. Dad also kept the bolts and ammo separate from the rifles.

At 10 I was trained to handle a gun... on the firing range. And at 12 I went thru an NRA course on fire-arms safety.

Guns don't kill people... people kill people.

I am ashamed to say that we the sheeple who abide the law might actually willing give them up if they have their way. Look at England, Australia, and Canada, they all had major firearm confiscation and no revolt to the infringement on their ownership of firearms.

It wouldn't get that far, the British upper classes would smash the US and make it one more colony of their empire first.

Ask a dumb question get a dumb response.

they will sell them to foreigners who are terrorist as a parting gift, saying "please dont kill us, we bought you a present"

Ashley- I disagree, my little brother had a water pistol and a pellet gun when he was a kiddie, and he has never had the need to shoot other people (except for the water gun) and now today he never wanted to kill anybody with a gun, in fact he has no interest in them. if anybody wanted to step to him, he would fight them with his hands not a gun.
