After all he slammed them and helped pressure false charges against them! Seems Al is very quick to protest everyone but a real hyprocrit in my book. I am not justifying Imus's remarks but Sharpton is a racist in my book too, or a publicity and $$ hound!

He should. But do we really want him too? Some smug, half-baked apology, riddled with insults? Shifting the burden back to us to accept it? No thanks.

If you don't report that jerk, I will.

You've made a very valid point, Paul.

Al does seem to fly off the handle and point the finger really quickly before all the facts are out on the table.

He, just about, ruined those young men's lives for nothing more than publicity, and to make some lawyers much richer at these innocent young men's expense.

The one that should be apologizing profusely is the young lady that made the false accusations, in the first place, or spend some time in jail for perjury.

Al Sharpton needs to apologize to blacks for keeping racism alive.
If Al Sharpton was held to the same standard as Imus, he would have been living in the gutter and standing in line at the soup kitchen years ago.
Sharpton has never had to apologize before, (Hymie Town..), why should he have to now? The double standard has become THE standard.
Sad, isn't it?

Kids? I think not, I don't know of any kids that attend colleges, unless they're gifted, but that's beside the point, thus I could care less whether or not Sharpton apologizes, however, given that Sharpton, as well as Jesse Jackson, Sheela Lee Jackson, and John Conyars... seem to follow the same race baiting agenda, as well as extortion in many cases, I for one would much rather see them fade out of the public lime light, and get voted out of office, as they continue exposing themselves for what they really are, thus as more and more people realize their arrogant bigotry, it's only a matter of time for that vary thing to occur, and I sure as hell would like to see that so-called district attorney get disbarred for his crimes against innocent citizens as well...

It is one of the marvels of our age that Al Sharpton is considered a spokesperson receiving air time from the media.

Hi Paul,
And let's not forget the Tawana Brawley debacle that Sharpton was with in 1987. Talk about a disaster...

Thank you thank you thank you for saying it. I have expressed that myself. He and Jesse flew to Durham and helped rile up racial acrimony in the case. He is a real stinking hypocrite. If you look in his past, both he and Jesse called white people names yet they sat and pontificated as if they have the moral right to do so.
Sharpton and Jackson are becoming obsolete and this is their way of keeping themselves relevant by inserting themselves where they should not go.
They keep forgetting they need to tell their own people to clean up their usage of the same words BEFORE they can tell others not to say them.

Al Sharptoon should go on the Imus show before he is fired and grovel at Imus's feet and beg for forgiveness.

Of course, but he never will. Idiots like him and 10 spot are so self-centered and feel that only they have the right to insult and accuse, but God forbid someone say something about them.

the Imus situation is already settled, he is fired we need to forget that dude and stop giving him so much attention. I mean did any of you actually listen to him before the situation?

being accused of rape is VERY serious and shouldnt be compared with the silly Imus case. those boys have been through a lot and I doubt that this stigma will go away, they will always be known for this. that stripper and other liars are making it very hard for real victims to come forward. she should be sent to jail for perjury.

personally, i dont know why people listen to strippers, if they paid her extra she would have shut up
