Why do you think, that the Duke Lacross players, from good families from the upper class of society, feel that they needed to hire two African American strippers to entertain them at a party, where all of them were going to be drinking, or totally intoxicated?

It is possible to be a well-educated doofus. Look at Washington, DC.

Because they were college kids and hired the women for a party. That happens all the time.

And what the "dancers" do is show up and do a girl-on-girl show, and then they typically accept "tips" for various favors.

The one who made the false accusations was shown to have had "DNA from several men" on or in her, but none of the DNA matched anyone from the Duke LaCrosse team.

And addressing "Spoon" who still believes they are guilty even though they were exonerated and called "innocent" of the charges, you need to learn about the justice system. This case never got to court, in terms of a trial. The guys were arrested and arraigned and pled not guilty. That's the extent of their contact with the court. I'd hate to have you on my jury, if I ever needed one, since you seem to think that getting arrested makes you guilty. Why even have a trial? We'll let the police determine who is innocent and guilty and they'll set the punishment too. Right?

Why WOULDN'T they hire two African-American strippers?

Is it wrong to hire African-American strippers if you're well-educated and from the upper class of society if you're going to have a party where there's going to be drinking and people getting intoxicated?

Is it wrong for black men to hire white strippers to come to a party where there is going to be drinking and people getting intoxcated?

Maybe it would have been better and perceived as less racist if they had specified "Don't send a black stripper." (LOL -- yeah, right)

Maybe they asked for African-American strippers because they find African-American women equally attractive as white women, and that was their preference to see on that particular night.

(Probably not anymore though.)

What difference does it make?

Welcome to the world of college-aged males. Things like this have been going on for a very long time and, most likely, will continue. I also have a feeling they simply hired strippers and the two who showed up just happened to be African American.

They sure did pay a hell va price.
Not only the cost of a stripper but lost of reputation, year of not playing lacrosse, coach being fired, names drag through the mud, and over what.
A made up story.

Well Jackson & Sharpton apologize....

I don't think so but a little unknow radio person who few people listen to in the morning loses his job because of a couple of words...

Hypocrites or liberalism not sure which is which now.

So are you saying well-educated, upper class white men can't find black strippers attractive???

Look, most people, when it comes to strippers anyway, could care less if the strippers are white, black, or yellow with purple polka dots. As long as they see something naked they're happy!!!!

I feel it was once the rev jackson that promised her and her "youngsters" a loose university schooling from the rainbow coalition ! Has any individual checked the pupil listing at Duke to look if she is enrolled ?? I`m definite they have got an intensive liberal direction for her to primary in like "The Art of Bull Dung" & "Exotic Displaying of the human Body" !

Get off your pulpit lots of American college students do the same thing. the color or social position in life has nothing to do with it. The REAL problem is the liberal minded PC people who convicted those kids before due process!!!! Now why don't you and the others focus your energy the same way at the black leaders and this trash girl, and bring them to justice!!!

You have a too narrow view. ALL young men, of all economic levels, of all races, will spend money on strippers and alcohol.

At least none of them got drunk enough to offer a marriage proposal.

Why slam the players? They were spreading the wealth around, nothing more. Strippers and whores are purchased everyday the world over.
