that under the DIning Out Category, you'll find another section for the Philippines

The first time I visited that part of Yahoo Answers eight months ago, there wasn't any question to answer. I was also surprised to see that there are subcategories like Baguio, Manila, etc...

Just wondering...

Since this is Yahoo Answers, let me answer your question first. Yes, I've known the Dining Out Philippines category.

Now allow me to share some other info...

Y/A has partially given Y/A Phil a separate server. Y/A Phil (YAP na lang para hindi mahirap i-type ^_^) is under the Y/A SEA team which hosts Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines. Here's their blog:

http://blog.360.yahoo.com/y_answrs_team_sea

Partially lang cause we still get English based questions. However, if you click on the Philippines link below (Answers International), it takes you to http://ph.answers.yahoo.com (note the PH before answers) and if you go to our good ol' Travel Philippines category, you'll see that allan y et al are not the top contributors but Galbi and a host of newbies.

It's still not a totally separate YAP but it's nice to know that Y/A is doing something and maybe eventually we'll have our separate YAP where we can post under the "proper" categories.

Ok ngarud!

Yes, I know that a long time ago because I've already explored some of the categories here in yahoo answers but I'm still consistently loyal
with my favorites and one of it is Travel Philippines. Thanks for the info anyway and for the points.

I had known that a long time ago. I had been going there every now and then hoping that it would be more active! I had already answered some questions there!

yup, i answered a few questions there before, only a few since not many questions pop out from there.

remember one answerer said before that she prefers to stay under travel philippines because it's more lively compared to that category? it's true.
