I think everyone should take a chill pill, this has got blowed out of text. I watch his show every am and you can tell he is joking around. When I played basketball I had blacks, whites from other teams make remarks to myself and other team mates and we just laughed it off. Hey, it's just one person opinion. Go Imus, and I will never watch msnbc again. Also let's look at Sharpen and Jackson hateful remarks , dose anyone really care what they say.

I have know idea what Rick is talking about. I'm just sick of the double edge remarks ..it's ok for the other color people to say and do whatever they want and kick the hell out of Don Imus . Lighten up if everyone gets upset over someone else opinions they have a problem. Just like Jessie Jackson and al sharpen, they make me sick so I just don't watch them or listen to them.

I want to know when Rev. Jesse Jackson and Rev. Al Sharpton are going to go after all the Rap singers who do nothing but degrade "their people"???

Why haven't they protested, demanded the songs be removed from the airways and stores that sell that crap?????

Talk about racist, those two surely fit the bill........

The media has taken this way out of the park. I am no fan of Imus and I believe what he said was inappropriate, but get over it. Of course there is a double standard. The Sharptons, Jacksons and the rest of the usual suspects do nothing to take down the hip hop and rap culture that brought all this disrespect down on us. I'll put more time into listening to them when I see them take on that culture, close down those studios and fire the execs involved. The real racists here are Sharpton and Jackson who pull that card everytime they think some white person has "stepped out of line".

I hope you all get what you want. What is it you want again? I dont think you ever said what you was wanting. Last thing I remember you was wanting was a seat towards the front of the bus, and something about drinking from the same water fountain. How come a word like niger or cracker or a guy talking about basketball can get you smart sons a bitchs out in the streets trashing your neighbors HOOD all to hell, but a guy (white, black and mexican mix OK? ) goes to the school and picks him out a 4 year old (boy girl ..whatever) and for 14 days rapes the child then throws the caurcus in a dumpster two blocks from your house, and your all good with that as long as he signs up when he moves in next door. Are you willing to stand up and get behind the people who would rather make news of some talk show guys comments about basketball. If you want to go ahead and take a stand on that issue and not say a word one about our growing injustice problems and all of our rights being taken from us all the while then make note of this. When we all have a 10 o clock curfew under marshall law , and are standing in the food lines, if you happen to be in front of me and i recognize you from seeing you on tv talking out your *** about ignorant **** as this , make no mistake , that that day will be one you may or may not live to remember in shame you dumb *** now what is your problem again?

When you get paid the big bucks on a national level, you best be discreet on how your words pop out of your mouth!

Since you don't make the serious bucks, then it's of no importance to you as to how you are seen by the entire population.

We are governed by laws, many of which revolve around character assasination.

An example of that would be that when one of the girls from Rutgers goes out to find a job, she may encounter remarks like the folloiwing...

"Oh, you were on that basketball team that Imus cut down???!!!"

Just follow the money trail, friend, and observe how Imus is being reduced to dog puke as the ones paying for commercials (corporations) are pulling the plug.

surely not something. the commonplace public at large only facilitates blacks to make fools of themselves and get away with it. It insults my intelligence and my ancestors to hearken to those who appear as if me demean women persons. i won't enable any music that degrades my race or women persons in my abode. That dirt won't supply any beneficial impact for my toddlers. i'm one that thinks TuPac replaced into not a function type! neither is Ted Nugent. i could say this is humorous to be certain particularly some the responses here. for sure, there are people who've little or no actual advice approximately Al Sharpton. He has endorsed the total banning of Gangster Rap, music that demeans human beings usually and blacks fairly. i might say he's approximately as liberal because it gets and he's on the leading edge of attempting to get rid of that dirt. We shoot one yet another like we are at an arcade game and very few human beings make a stink. enable somebody outdoors my race shoot someone that sounds like me and this is the tip of the worldwide. of direction, i don't want all and sundry killing my human beings. notwithstanding, in todays worldwide i'm extra worried approximately being insulted, shot, robbed or murdered via someone that sounds like me than Don Imus. Why hearth him? That proves not something. the actual soreness would be inflicted via not spending my money with the advertisers of his application. the main useful ingredient we've is our purchasing potential. only like Nate King Cole's type application replaced into pushed off the air via the inability of advertisers, so can Don Imus.

How many times would any black person take a national stand if a team of white girls were called flat butted little crackers I think not.I am so sick of this race card and all these politically correct public fiqures talking against Imus.I get insulted when I watch all those freaks on comedy central talk about white folks.Maybe we need to start complaining to the advertisers of these shows.

I ask for IMUS to stop LYING. i ASK you to stop LYING about IMUs's behavior. HE does this CONSTANTLY and to people HE doesn't even know. I have watched the show enough to know this is a PATTERN for him.

Imus LIED this week over and over again. I forgave him but he LIED on his show and said He never made the 60 minutes remarks or the Gwen Ifill remarks. There are transcripts to prove it that I posted at the end of this comment AND it came out of IMUS's mouth and not the NON Apologizing Bernard's mouth. ON that alone, I am glad he is fired.

YEAH, GO IMUS. ALL the way home.
