Depends on what it is. Clothes - quantity - cheap and cheerful and twice as many - if it's fashionable you don't wear it for too long anyway. Men, quality! Friends, quality AND quantity! Wine and food, quality.

Quality in things such as... friends, sweethearts, books, ideas, the papers I write, chocolate (when that craving hits)...
Quantity in things such as... attempting again when discouraged, options at my disposal when faced with difficult choices, and at the present I am afraid I prefer access to massive quantities of caffeine... *mumble, mumble, yawn*
