How do i decipher the letters and number sequences of stoves model numbers

Not sure exactly what you are looking for but the link below may help. Click on either gas or electric range title and you can find info on when they were made. Under electric it is #4 and for gas it's #2.

GCno. Is the Gas Council number for the appliance. The other information is the Model type and manufacturers serial number.
