Yes as a huge Braves fan the way they have started off is awesome. Considering that Chipper and Andruw Jones are struggling right now. McCann and Renteria are stepping up by having a great early season. The Braves pitching staff with Smoltz Hudson and James are pitching very well and our bullpen is pitching very well. I say if the Braves can keep up this kind of production and when Chipper and Andruw get out of their slump I'd say they have a legitimate shot at winning the division. GO BRAVES

Well the great start doesn't exactly ensure that they will go to the playoffs, but it certainly doesn't hurt. With as many NL East games they play in the first month (23 out of 28 games), especially against the Mets, Phils, and Marlins (18 games), they need to keep this hot start rolling for a while. Losing Mike Hampton for the season again will hurt, but with the starting pitching depth they have I do believe they can win the NL East and make a run at the World Series this year. Go Braves!!

I watched the Braves play when they were in Boston ages ago and have been a huge fan ever since. They definitely are off to a great start at 7 and 1. I think they will win their division and then will make it to the World Series where they will most definitely be competitive.
Chow!!

The Braves are freaken great!! Their weakness from last year, the bullpen, has already shown how great it is this year. They have gotten off to the best start since 1995, and that happen to be the year they won the World Series. I hope it means the same will happen this year.

I certainly hope so, but a good start doesn't always mean a good finish, nor does a bad start mean a bad finish. T he brave have been my team for a long time. I wish they had kept some of the good players that they have traded off or lost like Gary Sheffield. At least they still have the Jones boys! GO BRAVES!

They are certainly off to a great start, best in 12 years if i'm not mistaken. But they still have to contend with the Mets who will most likely win 100+ games this year. I think they have a shot if Jones gets on track, Chipper stays healthy, and Renteria stays hot. I think wildcard is their best shot tho.
Go Yanks (lol don't hold that against me when choosing the best answer)

Yes, very possibly.... They are the most underrated team in the MLB and they play in one of the hardest divisions with the Mets and Phillies, too!
Go Braves!

Although I have great respect for Bobby Cox and his club, I don't think that they will get into the postseason because of the fact that there is a very good chance that Andruw Jones won't be on the team come August.

Let's revisit this question after the all star break. So far they do look good but it's a 162 game season and a lot can happen over the course of the summer.
