Absolutely not. At best they'll finish 2nd in the conference and here's why...UT ranks better in almost every category on paper than that of the Tide. There are other teams better than the Tide in the SEC. UT is one, LSU is another, Florida is another, and Georgia and Auburn is about a tie. Heck, even UK has a lot to play for this year and could easily surprise a team or two in the SEC. Just look at how well the played the eventual champion Gators for over 3 quarters. With a UK win in the postseason, momentum does play a role in the 2007 equation. Bama's loss to OSU may not be devastating, but will be a factor in the early games. If Bama can have an undefeated October and November then expect them to finish 2nd in the SEC behind Florida.
This review is brought to you by a neutral party. The team I cheer for is a non-SEC team, so there's no bias there. I could've easily said that MSU would win the SEC, but we all know that won't happen. Well, at least all of us that are live outside of Starkville.

i think of Alabama will win because of the strain they might have the skill to positioned on Tebow like many communities have already accomplished this season. Florida has an excellent protection to boot yet has been incredibly susceptible against the run (gave up one hundred+ dashing yards to Tennessee, Arkansas and Georgia), and that i think of Mark Ingram would be the version interior the sport as he's the best working back interior the SEC. Alabama wins, 20-17, and advances to Pasadena to play interior the BCS national Championship. by using the way, floridapaceman, that argument approximately Florida/LSU and Alabama/LSU is extremely ridiculous. purely for the heck of countering it, Alabama beat Arkansas 35-7 at homestead on an identical time as Florida had to kick a final 2nd FG at homestead to overcome them 23-20.

If LSU and Florida make the leap to the National Football League, Auburn and Georgia decide to give up football in favor of Ice Hockey, and Arkansas and South Carolina get suspended by the NCAA for harboring al-Quida terrorist, then yes Alabama has a outside chance at winning the SEC championship.

No, Alabama is in rebuilding/recruitforyourlife mode. I don''t even think they'll come clost to winning the west division of the SEC. East West
Florida LSU
South Carolina Auburn
Arkansas

Not a chance, the SEC will again be the toughest confrence in college football, and Bama doesn't have the team to win it. It's tough to pick a winner this year because all the teams lost their starst form last new and have new talent this year, but if i were to make a prediction, it will be between UF and Auburn. If Tebow can excel without Leak, than the Gators will win, but if he comes out shakey than Auburn will finish on top, im very skeptical about LSU because they lost Russel and he was withut question the reason that their Offense was so good last year, but honestly, it's way up in the air, unlike most confrences.

Yea the SEC could go to several different teams this year especially since no team really stands out at all. It could go to South Carolina for all we know, so will they win? I really dont know. Do they have a chance, heck yes. LSU lost Jamarcus Russel so i can see them with a season similar to last year. Florida is now in the very incapable hands of Tim Tebow so i can see them doing horrible. As for the rest of the SEC its anyones game.

Alabama will finish 3rd or 4th in the SEC West behind Auburn, LSU, and Arkansas. Saban is a great coach but not for the money that Bama paid for him. He'll leave Tuscaloosa in four years like he has every other job.

Saban is a great recruiter and will get Bama back on track but not next year. Fear the Thumb!

Get ready to make your December reservations for the Liberty Bowl. Woohoo!

I would love for Alabama to win it, but I don't think so. I'm expecting around a 9-3 record [beating Awburn.]

That is a question only the season can answer, but with a recruiting coach like Nick Sabein {spelling...:)} anything is possible. Honestly, I would not be suprised at all if they did take the tittle maybe even the national championship, but hey that may be a little too out there.

No. There a few years away. Saban will turn the program in the right direction. He's a solid college coach.
