Probably the most prevalent of all humidity controlling devices is silica gel - you know, those little packets you constantly find whenever you purchase furniture, lamps, or pretty much anything else. You can easily obtain this and other desiccants from many different sources, so you shouldn't have a problem getting a hold of any. Hope this helps. Take care and God Bless!

If you are going to use dessicant, put the puzzles in a plastic bag along with the silica. Remember that the dessicant will only absorb so much water, and in time will become saturated and useless. I suggest you take the dessicant out of the bag a few times a year and bake in an oven at 250 degrees to remove the water absorbed. Then put the dessicant back in the bag and you are good to go for another 6 months.

Almost anything you buy these days has the small packets of silica sand in them. Just toss a couple of those packets in each puzzle and you'll be fine.
