Milton Keynes is a long way off - it's the best part of going to London.

Sarch has researched the distances for you and although Warrington is the nearer I'd be tempted to go to Matlock Bath as it's a very pretty small town in the picturesque Peak District and even without Gulliver's Theme Park there's plenty of things to see and do there. There's good shops, eateries of all kinds and the journey to and from Matlock is infinitely nicer. I haven't been to Warrington for some time and am in no rush to go back; my impression was that of a run down northern industrial town although I'm sure it's improved a lot since I was last there.

Warrington has the advantage that it will take about half the time to get to and is better served by public transport.

Warrington and Matlock Bath are approx the same distance from Leeds...(will check on Auto route in a minute) Milton Keynes is by far the furthest away. Warrington from Leeds is mostly motorway all the way, whilst a trip to Matlock Bath would be far more scenic....

Interesting!
Just checked on Auto Route and Matlock Bath is 70.8 miles from Leeds, whilst Warrington is 55.8 miles away....BUT ...there is a Warrington at Milton Keynes which is 143.9 miles away. Never knew there was a Warrington there before...you learn something new every day!

Definitely not MK. Matlock's also a lovely area with a lot of other stuff to see.

Just looked it up and warrington is closer by 4 miles. Nothing in it really.

Try Google maps. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps
Enter your start point, then check each Gulliver's distance from that.. :)
