I can understand if you really like the TI and have a reason for wanting to stay there, but the best rates I could find with their promotion rates was $229 for Friday & $209 for Saturday.
I have three other four star hotels that you could stay those same dates for less. In a couple of cases much less.
Luxor - PC "PGET20" on line or phone 1-800-288-1000 and use PC "PDGET20"
http://www.luxor.com >rates are $190 for Friday & $170 for Saturday >You can also save an additional 15% if you prepay for both nights< this promotion has some extras with it.
Las Vegas Hilton - PC "PSPRG7" >Spring Fling< This promotion has several very nice extras.
http://www.lv-hilton.com or 1-888-732-7117
Rate for each night $125.95
Golden Nugget - click on "special promotions"
http://www.goldennugget.com
Rate for each night $99
We go to LV 2-3 times a year for 2 weeks or more at a time and have for over 20 years. Each of the above hotels is a very nice four star hotel, with the services and amenities you would expect from one.
If you stay at the Luxor and would like a nice strip view room, ask for a room in the Pyramid on an upper floor that faces North.
At the LV Hilton tell them you have stayed with them before and enjoyed the view from room 1943, ask them for something similar. Or, they have many very nice rooms that you can upgrade to.
At the Golden Nugget, the $99 rate is for the South Tower and while those rooms are very nice, the ones in the North Tower are even nicer.
What I do is have a $20 in my hand when I ask at check in if he/she has a "free" upgrade available. He/she is going to say "I can't do that or It will cost you X amount" in which case you can pony up the difference if you really want that room. Or he/she will say let me take a look >in which case you're probable in luck< if you get the upgrade and when he/she hands you your room key you say thanks and give him/her the $20 handshake.
