Well I don't know what the 'BIG' thing is, but my two faves are:
Mid pace punk/pop rock AND Acoustic songs
But they are all awesome really!

My favorites are classic rock and acousitc songs. Make your own style and do what kind of music you like. Don't try to fit your music into the general mold. Be unique. Good luck!
