Its not acceptable to hit a women in my book ( unless they are just about to do something that could end your life!) and being drunk is know excuse!...Some of us think that when our partners speak to the opposite sex, where ever it may be, we are cheating..' saw you with this boy' what did he actually see exactly?...he ' used' to be nice to me?..take it he hasnt been for a long while then...I just hope he didn't leave a mark on you....because if I was a dad..and you were my daughter..i wouldn't be too pleased...good luck

Wow deja vu! The exact same thing happened to me; except my party was 13 yrs ago....Yes of course I stayed w/ him and yes it was on and off and very rocky with more abuse yet to come AND if I hadnt of gotten pregnant with his child(my entire world--10yr old boy)I know now I can say to unpregnant girl....get out while you still can, because you are most definitely headed for trouble. Although, I did stay; I can proudly say I did get out eventually...I am a proud divorcee of over 7 yrs. I sometimes look at my life and say what if and if only but I will never regret my precious child. I can only express to another girl that he will not stop hitting you, he will use you(inheritance at 18 and settlement at 20/21 that he helped me throw away),he will make you feel ugly(i never knew how good looking I was until I was separated), he will not be the bread winner(I worked more and supported us more than he did); in fact, I am still supporting my son and me because although my ex was ordered to pay child support, he has not paid any child support in a very very very long time...threats of going to prison...only cause him to spend even less time w/ taking our son on his weekends and more time partying before in case he has to go.

You don't want to leave him because he's nice to you? When? When he's sober? That's ridiculous. You're boyfriend is a lucky man, if I had been in your shoes, I'd have picked up the heaviest thing within arm distance and gone upside his head with it.
But my advice to you: Leave him. He hit you, yet you're already making excuses for him. Leave him now, while you are fully aware he has issues, not when you've been married and have 3 kids together...

Value your self respect...No one should ever hit you for any damn reason..U need to analyse that whether he did hit u in jest non seriously or was he pissed off seeing you with the guy n so he hit u...
If its the second thing please very sternly let him nkow that u dt want to lose him coz hez been really nice but u alwez have a self respect..
Look u cant b happy with a person who dsnt respect you enough to hold back hitting u however angry he mite be..
So think..please dont take it lightly..! hitting is offensive..!

He abused you, and you need to leave him. Drunk or not, he can't jump to conclusions and hit girls. I would tell the police just in case, and leave him. You deserve better than him, there are much nicer guys out there

well he set out to physically hurt you, have you had it out with him, explained you weren't cheating and that he was waaay out of line? He needs to get anger management, make him realize violence definitely isn't the best way of confronting you about things... this could be the start of a violent relationship if he doesn't apologise or seem remorseful.. LEAVE HIM!!

Ditch him.
Doesn't matter - drunk or sober - he shouldn't have hit you.
If you let him get away with it once it will make him think that it's ok. And it's not.
Move on.

If they hit you once and you stay with him you are showing him it's OK to do it again and it never stops until you get rid of him..if you live..tell every one you know about it and listen to them.
