Oops...sorry if I offended anyone. I was getting at people who allow text-speak or SMS-speak to infiltrate their messages--not people with genuine problems. Apologies!

Why are you so irritated? What if you were illiterate huh? This question would most likely hurt you!

This is not always possible to enforce, nor is it desirable in cases where the asker is from a country where English is not a commonly spoken language.
It is left to the good sense of people who ask or answer questions in YA to use the spell check provided so thoughtfully by YA.
Maybe one can consider making it compulsory for a spell check to be made with a provision that not more than say 3 or 4 spelling 'errors' could be permitted; however, even this is not always practicable as the spell check sometimes points out mistakes which, in some versions of English, are not considered to be so.
Further, many questions have non-English words which are otherwise perfectly legitimate in the other languages. Unless YA has a spell check for all languages, even this provision wouldn't work.
In the end, those who are irritated at the poor spelling that we sometimes come across in this forum, have to accept that everyone cannot be good in spelling, and learn to ignore the mistakes!
