Thanks Centurion for the idea!!
When you see a biker or a group of them, ( you know the type- long hair, leathers, xxxxlg body type, sun glasses,JUST MEAN LOOKING) do you.....
get scared and cross the street
get scared and try to sneak by
walk up and say hey guys NICE BIKES and talk for a bit
AND WHY ???
I have alot of friends that are bikers and they are big teddy bears. They would never hurt anyone unless someone needed help.
My friend got scared when one of my BIG friends started walk up to us at a restraunt one night she wanted to turn and run lolol.

We get bikers from all over every friday 13, thousands from all over. Never any trouble. I was in the FOG Riders (Fat Old Guys) and no trouble there either. But there's also a local chapter of Hell's Angels. and those guys are murdering idiots. So far they only kill themselves, but some civilian will get it one of these days.

As a Cop, I have encountered alot of bikers. I found that if you start talking to them, they let their guard down and the hardened faces soften and become kind. I have even had them letting me set on their "hogs" while I was in my uniform. Let's just put it like this, I found out that they are extremely patriotic (alot of veterans in the groups) and they would do anything to help a friend and if I were in a fight on the side of the road with a suspect and a biker I knew drove by, well, let's just say the fight would be over and the biker would be helping me out. Looks really can be deceiving and sometimes a stereotype about a person can be completely wrong!

Well, my parents had a time share in Myrtle Beach and there were ALWAYS bikers cruising around.
Bikers are just like anyone else. They dress a certain way because that's what they like to do. Yes, they look tough but all of the bikers that I have ever encountered have been very respectful and polite. I haven't ever had an altercation with them. They just want to ride their bikes and enjoy themselves. And, if you start up a conversation with them, they seem to really enjoy sharing their knowledge about the bikes. Bikers are cool folks. It's society that has given them a crappy reputation.♥

I actually have no problem with them. There used to be a biker gang up the road from where I live. I don't find them that mean or intimidating. I remember once a biker guy held a door open for me. I have no problem with them. The only problem I have is in the summer when I hear the bikes roar by at 3 in the morning. Other that they are cool, one of my friends husband has a Harley. :)

When I was a motorcycle cop, they would usually start checking out my Harley and start the conversation. Most bikers are pretty decent people who are really into motorcycles. There are of course, some people like all groups who aren't nice people, but they are far from the majority.

Ive been riding and been around bikes since i was young. My brothers had them. Ive found most bikers (and Ive hung out with a lot of them) are really halfway decent people who just do thier own thing. Are you going to find "mean" ones? sure...but you can find mean people everywhere....Ive never had a problem talking to them....

I certainly wouldn't be scared of them - I'd probably just walk on by. I hang out with a rough crowd myself for 8 hours a day so I don't scare easily - especially just because of the way someone looks.

sure. i've got yet another to proportion. i replaced into desperate for a job, and observed a help needed sign putting in a Biker Bar. I went in and spoke to the waitress on it. She stated, "ignore it guy! we want a BOUNCER here, and your one hundred sixty pounds ain't gonna decrease it!" nicely, I overheard this 6' 4" monster of a guy cursing some lady in between the cubicles, so I walked over and instructed him to quiet down, and behave himself. He swung on me, and that i caught his extensive wrist with the two hands, spun him around in a flash in an arm bar and danced him out the door !, I gave him a Russian leg sweep, and placed him on the floor, and stated, " and stay OUT! you're banned for a MONTH!" I went returned in and stated to the barmaid, "So how approximately that job? i will handle ANY hardship in here!!" She says, "nicely, you will would desire to be certain the owner." "whilst's a reliable time to discover him?" I asked. "He could be returned in here in yet another 10 seconds!!" she stated.
