At the reception, there is usually a meal, speeches and then drink and dance. It varies though.

Will you still have the garter and bouquet toss? And do you want to keep your bouquet, if so, have one made up to throw. Also, now many couples have the teddy bear toss for children. Also, beforehand have someone to act as sort of the emcee, to know which couples to ask what and someone to supervise the taping/pining of the names on the backs of the guests. Do this carefully with paper tape, maybe, but, the name must be on their back so that other people can see it and they are allowed to ask three yes or no questions only. Then, perhaps ask (and you may want to ask in private before the wedding) some of your aunts/uncles/cousins how they met their partner, how they knew he/she was the one? What was the funniest thing that happened at their wedding. A couple of games, let's see---32 people, Couples game, you would have to think up 16 couples, could be biblical or funny or both as in Mary and Joseph and Ricky and Lucy, Fred and Ethel, Andy and Helen (Andy Griffith), etc. You pin or tape a piece of paper on the back of the female and one on the back of a male or can mix and thru out the game or the reception, each person keeps trying to find their partner, sometimes having a female to female or male to male is funny if all is done in good clean fun. Another is the guessing game. to ask each married/ or not couple a question and how their spouse would answer and just see how wrong they are. Have the lady write her answer down on a piece of paper and when it comes their turn ask the man his answer, then she turns up her sheet, sometimes just the look on her face or his is enough to crack most people up. Very funny. Of course, there are always some sour grapes, but hopefully not in your group. This should be plenty, I am Baptist so take this in stride, a bunch of Baptists together don't really need entertainment, they know how to laugh and have a good time on their own. Got some of this out of order, but you get the basics.

Usually those invited bring a present for the happy couple. This is usually chosen from a list prepared by the bride.
At the reception there is either a set meal or a buffet, lots to drink. People dance and by the end of the evening most are so drunk they are falling over and making complete idiots of themselves.
Sometimes, unfortunately, there is even a mass punch up; usually kept within the family for old grievances.

The same thing as any other wedding really, you go you have a few drinks a nice meal usually a band plays then a dj you have some more drinks enjoy yourself and go home. nothing out of the ordinary the reception isnt the religious part so there is never any reference to it at the reception its usually just friends and family having a right good oul party to celebrate.

A christian wedding reception is just like any other reception. There may be alcohol, but probably no drunks. Grace may be said before the meal, but unless your very unlucky no one will preach at you. I can't guarantee that wont happen, but then wherever you go you there are those who badger.
Don't worry it's only a wedding.

Usually a sit-down meal or a buffet where the main members of the wedding party may give a speech. then it's like any other party with music and dancing. However, it usually ends up with various family members falling out and occasionally a punch-up if there is too much alcohol!!!

Well there are toast and speech by the wedding party and best friends etc. then after wishing the newly weds success, the party starts when the couple usually opens the dance floor and then you dance and enjoy yourself.
Just have fun, dont say embarrassing things about the newly weds and bring them a gift if you can afford to.
otherwise dont sweat it unless you dancing up a storm.
oh yeah and be prepared to hear soft, soul music.

You have lots of delicious food, drink and chat! The cake gets cut and three speeches are made, one by the husband, the father of the bride and then the best man. This last speech is generally hilarious and slightly rude. Then the evening is just dancing and socialising! You'll love it!
