And how come when God talks to you, it is always in validation of your beliefs, and when he talks to someone with conflicting beliefs, he validates there's too. It seems that God is talking to everyone except for me, yet nobody seems to agree on what he has to say.

God speaks to mankind thru the Bible. No other belief or "talk" is valid if it goes against His Word. God does not show favoritism to any person. His Word is written and does not change. God will speak to you if you read His Word. His Word is the objective Truth. But you must obey the Word and grow in knowledge and Truth. Everyone is in a different stage of growth and thus are putting part of the Word into their lives. It doesn't mean they are wrong and someone else is right. Just means they have reach an understanding of part of God's Word.

My goodness. I hear ya sweet. There are soooo many different religions and so many different ideas on ....man, you name it. Just looking through the Religion and Spirituality section tonight almost makes you tired. I personally have found that I needed to find out for myself. I won't say that I stopped listening to different pieces of advice on this matter out of stubborness, but rather to take a journey myself to find out what the Bible has to say. That is THE best way. One thing I have found throughout the entire Bible is that love appears to be one of the most frequently mentioned things. God desires to love us, to take care of us, to show us how mighty and great He is. Love and forgiveness. To me those are the key things. We can knock each others beliefs all day long and really where does it get us. I do believe that Christ died for our sins and that through His grace, we have been allowed to come into His presence. I love the fact that Jesus was so humble, so kind, so ever forgiving. He is the love of my life. There is a book that may interest you called "Encyclopedia of Cults and New Religions" by John Ankerberg and John Weldon. It is extremely interesting to say the very least. Also, "The Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel is a very good one to read. Mostly, I would suggest to search in your own heart. Call out to God from the depths of your heart and He will show you what you desire. Much love to you and I pray that the Lord will speak to you in a very real way....sometimes all we have to do is listen.

God talks to all of us. It's that little voice inside you. Some poeple choose to listen, some dont. Some recognise this as being God and some don't. But He's there.

Who knows if anyone's beliefs are right. All you can do it talk with God and hope you make the right decision.

God does not talk to people individually.
He prepared a book called the Bible and it does the talking.
Read it and we learn about God ....His personnality, His purpose, His expectations torward us.
There are conflicting beliefs only because too many people want more to be the big cheese, than loving truth.

God does talk! And he does talk to you too! However, what the Lord says to one cannot be the opposite of what he says to the other - it is the same God speaking, so, he cannot oppose himself.

He cannot say sinning if wrong to one person and say sinning is right to the other person! The moment it seems he is doing that, stop and consider, is it God's voice - is it really his language? You will be amazed at what you will discover! God is a good, loving and merciful God who desire us, his children to hear him when he speaks. In most times we cannot hear him when he speaks because we are not listening and at other times we cannot hear because our sins create a wall between us and our God, so that though he speaks we can't hear him, and though we reach out to him in prayer he too cannot hear.

God is a loving God. May he bless you for your good question.

God loves you, take comfort in that.

Maybe God doesn't like you.

No no, just kidding.

Ever hear about the eight blind men who feel eight different parts of an elephant? They all think an elephant is something different and yet they're all right?

God's talking to you too, and we don't have to agree on what is being said, only perhaps, that SOMETHING is being said.

Are you sure you are referring to God? Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? Consider revisiting your question and statement as God is not a God of confusion.

God will speak to you through his book the bible.

All you have to do is open it up, pray for him to show you his will, and if you are willing to hear him, he WILL speak to you.

He really reached me through the final chapters of any of the gospels. It's as if he's speaking directly to you, straight through time and space.

I know this might not be exactly what you want to hear, but you have to truely want to hear what God has to say for you to hear God.
