It may be a temporary gastric and/or intestinal irritation. The symptoms of an ulcer include a dull, gnawing ache that comes and goes for several days or weeks, it occurs 2 to 3 hours after a meal, it occurs in the middle of the night (when the stomach is empty), it's relieved by food, it's also relieved by antacids. Additional symptoms include unexplained or unplanned weight loss, poor appetite, abdominal bloating, excessive or frequent burping, nausea and vomiting. While some people experience only very mild symptoms, or none at all, most do have symptoms. I don't know where you got your information but compare what you've experienced to those symptoms I've listed. If at some point, you really do match up with the actual symptoms of an ulcer, see your doctor.

Duodenal ulcers are far more common than gastric ulcers.
Patients suffer from pain either just below the sternum or to the left of this. It tends to be worse with hunger, relieved by food, and then returns perhaps 30 minutes after eating.
There may be accompanying heartburn or dyspepsia.

We get people with huge GI bleeding in the hospital from stomach ulcers. They come in totally blood depleted and when we scope them, it looks like a crater.
Hgb and Hct are low, so sometimes we transfuse them.

Heart burn, burning stomach ache, if it's really bad you may taste blood in your mouth. You should see a doctor if you think you have one. You should cut out citric acid, caffine, spicy food, alcohol, tomatoes. Or just take the tablets the doc will give you.
