Where it comes from.Sea Salt is evaporated from shallow ponds or "pans" near the Oceans.Most US salt is either mined underground or mechanically separated,Land is too expensive.Iodine was added in 1940-1950 to prevent thyroid disease,thus salt is "Iodized".

Iodized salt comes from mines and has additives. Sea salt is basically dried sea water and rarely contains additives.

Sea salt is a natural salt where as iodized salt not a natural one. iodized salt is more better for the health than the natural salt.

Iodized salt usually contains additives to prevent it from caking up, while sea salt is typically all natural without additives. See more here:
