Other than a garage door,how can I keep cats off my car porch?

Geez, ignore them...

You could try keeping your cat inside. If your cat isn't about to agree to that, try a harness system that stops short of the car porch. Or, try spraying cat-bane, cat-b-gone or spearmint/peppermint oil around the area. Also, as a gardener. There are some flowers that cats just don't like and will avoid. You could try planting some of these around.
