Sell it to a chop shop.

The shop will pay the thief money for it and proceed to take the car apart and sell the parts. Since a good number of parts (particularily body panels, bumpers, etc.) don't have a VIN or serial number, tracking them can be difficult and therefore makes the stolen car worth more in pieces than as a whole.

Hope this helps!

Depending on the car you can get up to 3000 bucks for the motor. another 1500 for the transmission. It's a simple profit. grid off the numbers on the bock and transmission and it makes it almost impossible to trace.
