No evidence either way, but some of the issues mentioned in Holy Blood, Holy Grail and later the Da Vinci Code do make a lot of sense.
Let's all remember that Dan Brown writes fiction which means it was made up. He said that there were 666 panes of glass on the Louvre pyramid because it fitted the story better. He only says that the Priory of Scion is fact.
He based his story on Holy Grail, Holy Blood, and for those of you who say you have studied the book and that Dan Brown plagerised it, obviously haven't, because there are many things in the former that do not feature into The Da Vinci Code, and many of the conclusions used in Holy Grail, Holy Blood are different to the Da Vinci Code.
We refer to Leonardo Da Vinci as Da Vinci, because there are so many famuos Leonardo's, but only only on Da Vinci.

I have studied both "The Da Vinci Code" and "Holy Blood Holy Grail" at length. They are fascinating books -- every bit as interesting as books by UFO conspiracy theorists, but alas, just as reliable. Below are just 6 points at which I find fault with "The Da Vinci Code" (I could cite many more and I encourage you to read the short book by Richard Abanes mentioned below).
1. Leonardo should not be referred to as “Da Vinci.” "Da Vinci" simply means "from Vinci" (the town). Leonardo had no surname.
2. Brown says the pyramid outside the Louvre is constructed of 666 panes of glass (p. 21). The actual number is 673 according to the Louvre’s website:
http://www.louvre.fr/llv/activite/detail_parcours.jsp?CONTENT%3C%3Ecnt_id=10134198673458526&CURRENT_LLV_PARCOURS%3C%3Ecnt_id=10134198673458526&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=9852723696500938&bmUID=1149403101717&bmLocale=en
3. Brown asserts that the Gnostic gospels repeatedly refer to Jesus’ marriage to Mary Magdalene (p. 244). Actually we know of no Gnostic writings that make such a claim.
4. Brown claims the Gnostic Gospel of Philip says Jesus frequently kissed Mary Magdalene on the mouth. There is, in fact, a whole in the document after the word “the.” Brown supplies the word “mouth.” Also, the Gospel of Philip speaks of holy kissing as a common event among the disciples (Nag Hammadi Library, p. 135)
5. Brown writes that a secret organization known as the Priory of Sion has guarded the secrets regarding the royal bloodline and that documents found in the Bibliotheque Nationale known as Les Dossiers Secrets (“the secret records”) reveal he names of the past grandmasters of this organization. (pp.158-160, 206, 326). Representatives of the Bibliotheque Nationale declare these documents to be a fraud. Pierre Plantard admitted under oath that he “made the whole thing up.” (see The Truth Behind the Da Vinci Code, by Richard Abanes, pp. 48-56).
6. Brown says the Council of Nicea was determined by a close vote and that it was in this council that the divinity of Christ was invented and the canon of Scripture established (pp. 232-235). In reality, of the more than 300 bishops at Nicea, only five protested the creed it produced and only two actually refused to sign it. Furthermore the divinity of Christ had long been taught by the Church fathers and the canon of Scripture was not addressed at Nicea.
"The Da Vinci Code" is practically plagiarized from "Holy Blood Holy Grail" so many criticisms apply to both. The links below provide critiques of both books. I think you may be especially interested in the review by Brian Onken (a pretty sharp scholar) of "Holy Blood Holy Grail".

Hi, I have read a lot of these books in the past and have found them all to be deceptive and purely profit-making exercises.
The problem is that almost any modern writer can invent whatever they please about the life of Jesus and His times and most people will take it all in, I could write something along these themes and say that Jesus was anything I wanted Him to be and who could prove me wrong without evidence, this is the ace card that all these Authors love to play and we soak it all up and make them rich and famous in the process.
I am waiting now for the next get rich quick writer to come up with something more weird and wonderful and I bet that it will not be too long in coming.

Holy hypothesis Batman! The e book is available, yet very weakly supported. something approximately Jesus is the two vulnerable. The data he's in basic terms legendary is extra suitable than the data that he replace right into a historic guy or woman.
