i think my girl is cheating on me because a lot of people are telling me she is but i dont want to just flat out ask her because if she isnt i dont want to lose her

I'd say, whether what those people are saying is correct or not, the best way for you to find out is seat down with her, face to face, look in her eyes while talking about this matter and see what she has to say and by the way she reacts and handles it, you'll know the answer.

you don't want to live with a dishonest relationship, do you?
don't be dumb, be smart. but ask her intelligently
like
"I need to talk to you, but please don't get mad... I want to have a healthy and honest relationship.. have you been seeing anyone else other than me?"
If she asks why, tell her the real reason.. people are spreading rumors about it
don't say " are you cheating on me?" thats horrid!

Where theres smoke there is fire. Protect yourself emotionally and don't take her back if she is. ASK HER.
