My cat has recently been spayed (about 13 days ago). Her external stitches were removed two days ago.

So, I am wondering how much longer (if at all) I have to wait to bathe my cat who has recently been spayed. I understand that she has internal sutures, so my guess would be that I may have to wait until those are healed? If so, how will I know that they are healed? (I was hoping to be able to bathe and spray tomorrow Apr 12)

Unfortunately, the fleas are becoming unbearable , so I want to treat my room with flea and tick spray tomorrow, and while the spray is drying, I want to bathe my cats to make sure that most of the fleas, if not all, will be gone. I hate to see my cats in misery, and I can't stand being bitten by fleas.

I wanted to spray my room and bathe my cats before getting any preventative medication to see how much I can get rid of before spending a ton of money on medication (which I may get next week or so - the fleas are just bothering all of us).

As soon as the sutures (stitches) are removed you may bath your cat

If the external stitches are out, you can bathe her now.
After she is dry, apply the anti-flea/tick drops to her neck, as directed on the package so you can avoid the problem in the future. You can get them from a vet or pet store. They work great.

Spot wash him gently with slightly cleansing soap and washcloth. be careful as he nonetheless would be sore and could no longer choose you to touch him interior the section. IMO i could basically wait some weeks and supply him a bath.
